Full Spread – Maximum Coverage Across the Range
Ever noticed how some people's lottery numbers are all bunched up between 1 and 31? The Full Spread strategy takes the opposite approach — it guarantees you have numbers covering the entire range from bottom to top.
How It Works
The algorithm divides the full number range into equal segments — one segment per number you need to pick. It then randomly selects one number from each segment.
For example, if you're picking 6 numbers from 1–59, the range gets split into 6 segments of roughly 10 numbers each. You'll always get one from the low end, one from the high end, and everything in between.
The Maths Behind It
Think of the lottery range as a ruler. Most people cluster their marks on the left side (birthdays, anniversaries). Full Spread places marks evenly along the entire ruler, ensuring no section is left unrepresented.
This approach is sometimes called stratified random sampling in statistics. It preserves randomness within each segment while guaranteeing broad coverage — the best of both worlds.
